This terrace design was carried out with floating large-format porphyry slabs.
The surface is flamed and therefore suitable for outdoor areas.
The 3 cm thick natural stone slabs were not glued but padded.
The advantage is that the slabs are protected against frost damage and efflorescence of any kind (lime, cement).
The water can drain off easily through the 1mm wide joints.
