Breccias entwined by lava rock - open sesame! During the extension work of the Stocker sparkling wine cellar in Terlan, a rock came to light.
The rock was not removed and thus a virtue was made of necessity. Now you can enter the new area through the rock! With the mobile diamond wire saw we cut a passage through the 14m³ block.
The idea came from winery owner Sigmar Stocker and architect Sylvia Hafner Polzhofer.
The Stocker sparkling wine cellar produces high-quality sparkling wines with three types of wine.
We were allowed to produce a bar table and a block with a polished surface for the sparkling wine cellar from the cut-out part.
