Description

The Martell granite Plima is a rock of granitic or granite-like origin. There is no quarry! Martell granite is extracted from erratic blocks . They are between 1 and 15 cubic metres in size. The boulders are taken from the riverbed of the Plima, from the meadows of the farmers or from debris cones of the scree heaps. Each stone is unique. This rock comes in countless colour variations. The colour palette ranges from light grey to brown-golden.

The stone is quarried in the Martell Valley. Larger masses of rock are recovered in the Plima River or come to light when green areas are dug up.
