Description

Montiggler porphyry is a very hard rock, which is characterised by its warm colours and imaginative grains. It shows itself in three basic shades: violet, red and grey. Thanks to its frost and acid resistance as well as its abrasion resistance, the stone qualifies for any use in exterior and interior areas.

Quarrying: The Montiggler porphyry is extracted from the quarry above Lake Montiggler. In the process, large slabs of stone with a thickness of up to 80 cm are extracted. These are then processed into raw slabs or floors.

The Montiggler Prophyry is also often used in garden design.

Use

Exterior and interior, stone flooring in 30cm width and running lengths, garden designs, stairs, kerbs, paving stones, fountains, gravestones.

Availability

Unlimited; large raw slabs limited available, raw slab sizes on request, irregular bottom slabs.
