Description

The light-colored Passeier gneiss is quarried in the same quarry as the Passeier gneiss garnet and is therefore a lighter version of the popular natural stone. The material is extracted in the upper area of the quarry and is therefore available in limited quantities.

The undulating structure of the material is characteristic. The natural forces required for metamorphosis can be read from this and give the stone a flowing direction. In metamorphic stones, such as gneiss, the original rock comes under extreme pressure again and transforms into a new material. This pressure occurred during the folding of the Alps.

Use

Stone floors, patio coverings, interior floors, bathroom design, wellness areas, kitchen worktops, fountains and solid work, stone shower trays, stone washbasins.
