Description
The basic colour of Terlan porphyry is violet-pink or reddish with dark violet and beige inclusions depending on the incidence of light. Its numerous glassy quartz crystals and the dark red "colour blobs" are striking. We also call it the wine porphyry because the entire stone design of the Terlan winery was carried out with this material and the winery attributes the longevity of its white wines to the high quartz content of the soil.
